munchkin & minuets

our love for these adorable kittens!

We can't wait to share their amazing personality through their off spring. My family and I are producing Munchkin and Minuet kittens in Central Idaho. For those of you who are not familiar with the breed, they are short legged, beautiful kitties. These little babies are extremely rare, unique, fun, and loving pets.

about the breed

The Munchkin is a relatively new breed of cat characterized by its very short legs, which are caused by a naturally occurring genetic mutation. Munchkins are generally described as a sweet-natured, playful, people-oriented, outgoing and intelligent cat which responds well to being handled. The shortness of their legs does not seem to interfere with their running and leaping abilities. Throughout their life Munchkin cats keep their kitten-like personalities. These playful little cats are very affectionate, sociable and trainable. Their short stature does not slow them down at all. They enjoy running, climbing and jumping just like their taller relatives. Munchkins are an extremely loving breed of cat!
The Minuet is a combination of the Persian and Munchkin to create a beautiful doll like face with a short little body. These babies come in all colors of the rainbow and both long and short hair coats. The minuet is a man-made breed currently in the early stages of development. The standard Minuet has short legs but there are also nonstandard kittens with normal leg length but the same sweet look.

Standard Kittens $2000-3000
Non Standard $900-1500

condition of sale

1. Kittens will be provided at a timeline in discretion of the seller.

2. The purchased cat will not be given away, sold, or otherwise transferred from your care without consent from the seller.

3. Buyer agrees that the purchased cat will be kept up to date on all vaccinations, and will receive regular check-ups from a licensed veterinarian.

4. Buyer agrees to have the kitten examined by a veterinarian within 72 hours of receipt. Should any medical problems be found, the kitten can be exchanged/replaced. Seller is not responsible for any veterinarian expenses.

5. If a replacement cat is necessary, buyer will be responsible for any shipping costs.

6. Buyer agrees that any purchased cat will be kept indoors only.

7. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS

8. Kittens are sold as PET ONLY unless buyer and seller agree to sell as show/breeder. Show and breeding kittens will be an additional cost.

reservations

Reservations are made on a first come, first serve basis. We cannot guarantee the availability of kittens prior to each litter. Your initial contact will place you in line to reserve a kitten. once a kitten is offered and wanting to be reserved - At that time a non-refundable deposit fee 50% of the kitten price is required to maintain your reservation. If there are no desirable kittens, you may opt to preserve your place on our list until the next litter arrives. (This deposit can also be placed before the kittens arriving. In this case, you can be the first one to visit our kittens if you are the first one paid, and pick the one you like before they are placed on the market.)
